Mailing Lists for Printers
The PrintShare Mailing List
PrintShare is a mailing list primarily for owners/managers of printing businesses, but is open to anyone in printing -- whether you classify yourself as a commercial printer, quick printer, in-plant printer, owner, employee, broker, or vendor. Topics will vary widely -- whatever issues you'd like to discuss related to printing.

Aliases, anonymous, or fictitious subscriptions will not be accepted for the PrintShare list. You will receive an e-mail message with a welcome and more information after you have successfully subscribed.
The PrintOwners Mailing List
PrintOwners is a mailing list specifically for owners of printing businesses. It's meant to provide a forum where issues of special interest to owners can be discussed. Within a week of joining PrintOwners, you will be expected to introduce yourself and your business to your fellow listmembers. Details will arrive with your welcome message after subscribing.
Please Note: PrintOwners is a very active list; it is not uncommon to receive from 50 to 100 messages per day (or more). So it's imortant that you check your mail every day, especially if you use a provider that limits the amount of mail in your mailbox (such as AOL).

Both Lists...
PrintShare and PrintOwners are independent, unmoderated, unsponsored, and FREE mailing lists for printers. They are not anonymous lists -- you are expected to sign each message you post, with your real name. Posting with a ficticious name (or no name at all) is grounds for being removed from the list(s) at the discretion of the List Manager.
Do not send file attachments to the list -- that's bad netiquette on almost any mailing list, and attachments to PrintShare and PrintOwners are automatically blocked -- your message will bounce.
Be sure to submit your message as plain text -- do not include HTML coding in your message. If you do, chances are the list server will see the HTML as an attachment and your message will bounce.
Avoid the use of extended characters in your messages -- Mac users see them differently than PC users, and vice versa. And subscribers to the digests won't see them at all.
For more complete guidelines and information, please visit our Netiquette Guide -- required reading for all PrintShare and PrintOwners subscribers.
